  1. I was thinking about getting it but I've only played Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories and well....I didn't come close to finishing them. I was holding out for a HD collection announcement for the previous titles, but 3D seems really polished and full of content so........maybe......maybe.....
  2. I was thinking about just something with a control stick on it really but it would work well as a physical object for stuff like Star Wars. I'm sure it could be used by Kinect anyway purely as a control for moving at its most basic and they could have easily kept their same marketing "YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER" and just slip that nav controller into the actors hands they have jumping around, an innocent white thing just there, being around in the games that needed to use it.
  3. That fucking inbetweeners US trailer. Fuck it. FUCK IT. You know what pisses me off the most? That fucking fat. Its like they always have to sneak in the fucking obnoxious fat kid who says all the one liners. FUCK YOU MTV.
  4. GOD DAMN IT. headphones always break so damn easily. And its always the same god damn place that causes problems that bendy part just at the connection. GOD DAMN FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS ARGH.

Issues with the bendy bit just at the insert plug are easy to avoid: that part is the most common breaking part of any cord system, because people mistreat them woefully. Basically, if, where the cord is coming out of the housing, there is ANY bend at all, even a slight one, the chance of it breaking will only increase. Make sure there's no bend in the cord where it immediately begins. Same goes for laptops and everything.

You cursed me, Excel... My Sony buds (looks like "MDR-E818") just died today. For me, it's always the spot where the wire goes into the earphone, though this time I only loosely coiled it - never wrapped it tightly around anything. Ah, cheap hair-thin copper wires.

  5. YES! Although that's only because Phoenix used to be a loser which makes him all the more loveable. I love the way they show him how pathetic he was before he became a lawyer in Trials and Tribulations! Edgeworth still rocks though! The person below me listens to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
  6. shaved my unkepmt beard into a neat goatee, suits me quite well!

Now I want to grow a goatee and find you, wherever you may be. It's time I use the privilege I have of living in Ireland for once. :P

If only I knew where to begin my adventure to find the Glorious Goatee, and the Hairy Hater. Sounds like a fairytale in the making.

  7. Do you guys think a Nunchuck/Nav type controller would have helped the Kinect achieve a much more solid base upon which to develop games for? Granted a Nunchuck controller would take away one of your hands but you still have full movement of your whole body to use and by tying movement to that controller you don't have to design some illfated movement system with Kinect.
  8. No one's saying that, we're just saying Nintendo can't bank on selling millions and millions of units to "non-traditional gamers" again. If that is their strategy they're going to be sorely disappointed. If their strategy is to target more of the "core" and the kids then they could do very well indeed. I think that's the key though, they aren't going to sell to the casual market but millions of kids have been exposed to the Wii and games like New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart Wii. I mean I even saw kid buying with their parents when Monster Hunter Tri was released over here. That kid market will be at its biggest in years for Nintendo.
  9. Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. The new version of Final Fantasy XIV that the game will be updated to and eventually next year I guess will release on PS3. Announced of course with a CGI trailer and no release date. I guess it'll do well on PS3.
  10. But the software always sells the hardware. Your not going to get New Super Mario Bros on your iPhone. Or any Nintendo software for that matter. But Nintendo software is only going to sell the hardware to the enthusiasts, not the casuals. Grandma doesn't care enough about a sequel to a game she already has to spend $200+ on new hardware to play it. But kids will want the new Mario Kart or New Super Mario Bros. Are you saying that Grandma is the one getting an iPhone which is far more than $200? Like I totally understand how the casual market of adults has definitely shrunk but I don't agree that all these people have suddenly moved onto iPhones as their dedicated gaming devices and there is no market for a Nintendo console for those who actually bought games for the their Wii.

  12. Yeah but when it got the apps and all that it didn't seem to have any effect on Wii sales. There is no popular software on Wii that became available on the Iphone and all of sudden became massively popular. Maybe there is something I'm missing here, but I don't see the connection at all between the two.
  13. The iPhone didn't slow down sales of the Wii when it released. Worth pointing out how not necessarily casual experiences from Nintendo did really well, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and New Super Mario Bros Wii. There's still a market for sequels to those games on a new console. I'd say a more apt comparison is handhelds.
  14. No not for Torchlight 1 and as far as I can see its the same for Torchlight 2.
  15. Hey I may just have to get it....hmm August 28th?......yeah that could work....
  16. He's the Dog Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
  17. 7 euro for Alan Wake? Oh Steam you are talking my language baby!

  18. Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself... that is coffee. ...I take it with milk and sugar. I'M A DISAPPOINTMENT TO YOU ALL AND MYSELF.
  19. Finally arrived yesterday! I've been absolutely loving it. Its so fun and instantly gratifying. I love the party and level up mechanics as well which add a little spice to proceedings. I'm also doing pretty well, and I suck at Guitar Hero and other rhythm games. The character design is really charming and all the different stages work well. I think an actual full out battle system using this in a proper spin off would work wonders. Also the music choices are pretty all round strong. Although I think for the NES and SNES entries, remixes would have been a better choice than the original midi music.
  20. Sounds and looks fantastic. She still looks a lot like page albeit a lot younger.
  21. Game deals? On PC? Naw, nothing going on.
  22. Oh Steam sales. You always get me. I said to my self I have a backlog. I have games to play already. Steam said NOPE, SORRY THERE EXCEL, BUY THIS. ....that's all I've bought for myself so far. But Legend of Grimrock and The Walking Dead and Deus Ex Human Revolution are all talking to me. They say BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME. But I'll resist. I WILL RESIST.
  23. COMMENCE THE SAVINGS! TIME TO BUY LOADS OF GAMES AND NEVER PLAY THEM WOO!! C'mon Skyrim 75% off. Or 66% off....C'MON!
  24. They'd have to really work to get it that small. That game took up over 32GB of data and that was archived data that had to be installed, so its actual size on a system that doesn't install carts would be even bigger.
  25. MGS 4 TROPHY PATCH ON THE WAY! WEEE! Only took 4 years but still that's sweet! Here's hoping they put in a full install option and cutscene viewer
