Question, Arrow Season 3

Ooh is this the thread to share our nail troubles? I lost 1/4th of my finger nail on my left middle finger, because I pulled on something there, it hurt but I ignored it for a week. Had to get surgery to halt the swelling but had to remove the infected part of the nail. The doctor wrapped it in a thick bandage(?) after and I had to keep it elevated. I looked like an idiot giving the finger to everybody. Grew back fine though.

But what about this system?

3DS question: I assume if I delete games downloaded from the eShop I could just download them again for free from the eShop again. What happens to my savegames though? Are they just there when I download and run the game again or do I lose them? How do I back them up? I don't think I have a cable for this thing.

I started flagging recommendations as inappropriate, I wonder how long it'll take before I get banned for abuse or something. It does make me feel better though. Also learned that tumblr kind of chased away the person who made the awesome extension of removing these annoyances. Oops. I kinda signed up on tumblr because I keep ending up in there and maybe I should follow some of those blogs that have kind of cool content. However holy crap is there a way to turn off those recommended blogs/posts? It's like every 2 posts there's a recommended blog. What the fuck is that about. Drives me crazy, I'm not the target audience of tumblr I guess, but I just wanna follow a few blogs...

Oh cool. I was warned about Season 3, but I feel like I'll be fine with it. I have a high level of tolerance for shows I like. So both shows are shot in Vancouver? Cool. I have to ask:

You have failed this city. I'm so late in this but I wonder if the writers were aiming for that line to be a meme. So I started watching Arrow (11 episodes in) since The Flash was really good. Always planned on watching this but never really got around to it. Heard good things though and so far its been enjoyable. Well, not that last episode where he suddenly becomes a sissy. Anyhoo, while watching The Flash I kind of got annoyed at Iris so I looked it up. Popular opinion is that she was a bit annoying, but not as bad as Laurel. So here I am watching Arrow and feel like there's something I'm not seeing. I kind of like Laurel so far. She's not really important, yet I guess, but she's pretty consistent and I'm actually interested in her scenes. Should I be bracing myself for her inevitable turn into being annoying? Or did I miss it? I guess it's too early to tell but everytime I see her now I keep thinking she'll fuck up majorly and that will be the reason for the Laurel hate. But she hasn't yet. Cool show anyway.

Did you guys make it to Spectacle island? That whole island is buildable! Is that a word, build-able? There's a mod that allows building Institute things (walls, beds, lights, etc). But I don't trust the big mods that do too much, yet, since the G.E.C.K. isn't out yet. But once that mod gets a G.E.C.K. version I'll start building my above-ground institute base over there. It'll be different this time. We're good people! You'll see!

I think this has happened to me before, and the cause was one of my RAM sticks had gone bad, or the slot it takes on the motherboard has gone bad. Try moving to another slot, it might help.

So I completed the game.

Infusion can be done on both Legendary or Exotic items. By that I mean you can infuse purple or yellow items (they'll have the infusion attribute in the weapon stats), using another blue, purple, or yellow item. This made blues matter more than before, as getting a 300 attack blue weapon is now useful. You can use the blue item itself, or infuse it to your favorite 290 purple, to increase your purple's attack rating from 290 to 298. This is how you level up your favorite weapons. Here's a pretty cool infusion calculator. http://mattaltepeter.com/destiny/ I usually infuse a purple item with another item that is at least 6 points higher, because that will give you the full six points. For example, infusing a 290 with a 296, you will end up with a 296. If you infuse a 290 with a 297, you only get a 296 because you don't get 100% of the 2nd item, but it has a small buffer where you do get the full points. This is around 6 points when you're infusing a purple item, and around 4 points when infusing a yellow item, but use the calculator anyway. So if your favorite purple item is 290, and you have a blue with 296 rating and another blue with 300 rating, you should infuse in 2 steps. Infuse the 290 with 296 to get a 296, then infuse to 300. Your favorite purple item is now 300. You can also go 290 -> 294 -> 300. But use the calculator, you may end up with a 299. If you go 290 -> 293, then infuse the 300 to the 293, you only end up with a 299.

I have a main quest question...

Did some settlement stuff, played a bit, and suddenly I had 2000+ wood. So I restarted my boardwalk dream. Work in progress pics, too crowded right now I think, I may need to extend the main area both sides, so people have space to walk around. Also have to figure where to add more lights at night.

I haven't finished the story yet, i have yet to do the "glowing sea" but I'm sidetracked by settlement things and I think I'm actually enjoying it. What's your favorite settlement? I'm gonna spoiler this, because I'm going to mention one of the settlements you can take over, related to a side quest, and maybe some won't like that spoiled. But that's all it is. I'm not going to mention side quest details. I'm moving on to the next one because I've done all I can for that settlement. I attempted to create a boardwalk on one of the settlements on a beach on the east side of the map, but I ran out of wood just trying to build the floors and railings. My plan was to build a mansion* on the boardwalk, with a few rooms, like an inn, then add stores, benches, and cool lights. I even extended part of the platform out into the sea (as far as I could), so there could be some sort of look out point. Had to reload, maybe I'll try it out again once I have more wood and figure out how to get more. I also tried Starlight Drive-in, built some kind of two-story "barracks" with lots of beds in there, but the 12 people seem to have trouble getting into their beds. Ended up opening the walls and adding outside stairs just so they could get in faster. But then my settlement bugged out, it seems the settler count doubled somehow and it was showing 24 settlers, I only had 12 there. So ultimately ended up reloading it, and gave up on it for now. No other settlement seems good enough to build on. Such uneven terrain in most of them. Sanctuary has flat surfaces if you clear out ruined houses but it's on the edge of the map! I wanted to rebuild my old house but it seems it's impossible with the tools. Also, how do you even build a house? It seems the inner walls won't snap, can't add doorways to inner walls, and there are really no windows. Best I could do was use the walls that have holes in them. I'm kind of disappointed now that I can't even build a small house like the ones in Covenant.
