I agree Hot Heart! My friends and I are waiting for the co-op missions. Those are fun to do with friends. Don't care so much about pubs. Played the campaign over the weekend, but have not finished it yet. Mostly because I keep jumping off cliffs and imagining the pain Sam would have gone through if Drake really died jumping off cliffs ("Oh god! Nathan!"), then laughing about it. Every time I see one of those rope swing thingies I jump first then on the last moment press L1. In my head it's because Sam left and Drake never really learned how to do the rope thing properly. I dunno it's hilarious to me haha. Yeah I know it's weird.

Lol. My musical taste apparently is the complete opposite of me. That analysis could not have been more wrong...

Child of Light! I tried it again last week, I think. I got pretty far into it now, but I just got tired of the dialogue style (all them rhymes), it was amusing at first, but now I just really wanted to read regular dialogue... And I think I also got tired of the combat. Man I really do not like turn based I guess. It was OK at first, but now that I've been battling the same types of enemies over and over I just dread going into combat. I just slogged through the fight against the giant spider who won't die and then I gave up.

Nobody playing this on the PS4? Cowboy? I like playing Tracer, I like blink. If a character has blink, I'll use 'em. Also, that rewind/self heal thing she has is fun to use. Disorients enemies. Disorients you too if you're not paying attention! Winning a 1v1 using that thing is so satisfying. Really cool. My pick is usually Tracer or D.Va to start, depending on what the team consists of. D.Va because mech bomb = quadruple kills if used right! Oh and also Mercy, when nobody else wants to play support. The cool thing about playing support is as long as you do decent healing, you'll get the likes at the end of the match! I even vote for the other team's healers! Healers are cool and appreciated. Then when shit hits the fan, that is, when I'm just getting slaughtered playing as Tracer, I switch to Widowmaker, or Soldier 76, or Reaper. Soldier 76 is kinda easy mode with that self heal and that auto-aim super. Easy to play, you could always be decent with him. Reaper is just freakin' cool with his dual shotguns, he (it?) just throws them away instead of reloading. I should pick a defense character though. Maybe the living turret dude. Because I always seem to die from that damn turret. No lag whatsoever on the PS4 side though.

What did I NOT buy? There's also 3 more huge boxes in another corner... I need help getting rid of these boxes...

I'm repurposing this old useless thread! Although feel free to move because I swear we had a thread before for what I'm about to post... I need a computer desk (top)! I'd like one of those L-shaped ones, which can go in a corner of my apt. What I really want are those L-shaped ones but are rounded, like this one: ... although I don't really need the cabinets and keyboard trays. They can usually be found in office cubicles, and they're usually height adjustable too! I just think it'd be more awesome for a two-monitor setup. I'm open to other options though. Just really want to look for suggestions. What does your computer table look like?

This weekend I binged on Billions, a wall street drama starring Damien Lewis and some fat guy I don't know. Major Winters has pretty cool TV shows (Life, Homeland). I honestly do not understand the financial aspect of the show, I only understand things "in general", like I know what they're doing might be illegal, or might be skirting the law things like that, but the drama is good. Also has some pretty interesting characters, or rather characters in interesting situations. There's this one phrase one of the characters use, "I am not uncertain", used as some kind of code to basically say they're sure (of a decision) because they got some inside info, when they're doing financial thingies. I think I'm going to start using that phrase IRL. Also WTF is with the CW schedule, is it 1 episode per 2 weeks on The Flash? C'mon now... Oh and I also started watching Episodes. I like how the show is described: "Matt LeBlanc stars as Matt LeBlanc in a comedy about writing a comedy series". Matt LeBlanc is basically the same character again, but he's not too dumb in this one. He's like Joey from Season 1 of friends. Not like dumb cartoon Joey from the later seasons. It's ok... I'm trying to watch all these Showtime shows before my Showtime on Hulu trial is up. I keep seeing this ad for Ray Donovan and all I can think of is Max Payne when I see it. Is this show good? Seems to have a cult following. Oh oh and also, I seem to have completely lost interest in the last remaining episodes of Daredevil, season 2. Is it just me? I think Elektra just killed the show for me. She is a terrible person and honestly not really that interesting, which made me kinda hate Matt and now I'm uninterested in him too... Punisher got a bit boring as well...

There are some settings in power manager that limits CPU power and other stuff (like dimming screen brightness) to some percentage when not connected to AC, to conserve battery. Check if your laptop has it's own power manager program or settings program (I know for example Lenovo's power manager program for its Thinkpad line has these), or check Window's power manager settings.

Pretty cool tablet for $50 (Kindle Fire 7"). Since I decided to not get a bigger phone (in both screen size and capacity! iPhone 5s 16gb ftw!), I wanted to get a tablet so I could read stuff while at home and so I don't have to read in front of a computer. I initially was looking at the iPad Mini 4, because Apple and ecosystem and all that, but could not justify the price for what I would use it for. This tablet is pretty good, so far. Yeah it takes a few seconds to load apps, but that's ok. My only real complaint is that sometimes there isn't an indicator that things are loading, so I feel like I'm waiting around for nothing (and sometimes I was waiting around for nothing, not used to the Android/Fire interface still). But it's pretty good. I even tried watching Hulu on it and it's pretty good.

I really, really miss my PC... How hard is it to install a CPU to a motherboard? It looks easy but also looks like something I could mess up and end up with an expensive paperweight...

Hey Dean so I saw your post The cheatengine file you probably downloaded had tons and tons of cheats that you probably don't want to use. I stripped it down back when I was playing it so that it was easier. Here's the file. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16661885/pxod/LRFF13_daytime_run.zip 1. Run Cheat Engine 2. Run Lightning Returns 3. Alt tab to Cheat Engine. Click on the glowing icon on the upper left under the File menu. You can't miss it. 4. This opens up a process list. Search for LRFF13.exe, might have numbers before it, but that's the executable. Click that and click Open. 5. Click on the folder icon (Open a cheat table) beside the glowing icon (it's not glowing anymore). Select the file I linked (unzipped). 6. An "Advanced Options" window pop up, just close it or click OK. 7. Back on the main window, on the bottom, just click the boxes to enable them (it'll then be marked with X). Just keep opening up boxes until you see the cheats for slowing down time. I believe I also left a cheat there for infinite stamina. I think the time slowdowns are bound to shortcut keys (you should be able to see what they are). I forgot how but I was able to bind my stuff to the controller using DS4windows, so I could speed it up and slow it down quickly without having to alt-tab out.

Some background program is stealing the focus I think. I know I've had a similar problem before. If it happens again, check the system tray and see if you're running something that might cause it. Or check the processes tab in Task Manager and see if you see something there that you don't recognize. I was gonna say check your startup programs too but then you should be seeing this behavior all the time.
