  1. New Xbox for Holiday 2013. More PlayStation All-Stars details, with third party content being the big finisher. Ubisoft seeks revenge for leaked Rayman Legends footage by finding someone worse than Mr. Caffeine. Miyamoto plays Pikmin 3 on-stage. Oh, and a teaser trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII with a vague 2013 release date.
  2. Kinda funny how while the 360 was the first 7th gen console, throughout the years there was always an add-on/upgrade for the console to adopt. Wi-Fi (G and N versions), HD-DVD, HDMI port, and a new hard drive for the Slim.
  3. I don't know, and I'll admit, it's always odd to look at him on that cover. It's like whoever drew the cover knew fangirls would gingerly put their hand on the book and whisper, "Take me away, Last Airbender."
  4. I don't want to read through them both right away, but of what little I saw when scanning through...
  5. Nearly two weeks ago, Newsweek listed the 13 Useless Majors according to a website, and one of the careers that has suffered from the economy is graphic design. When I was beginning college, the instructors/professors would go on about how graphic designers are needed. This was back in '07/'08, but now there's an increase of unemployment either from 7.5 (experienced) and 11.8 (recent grad). Guess which ones are the 13 Useful Majors? Mainly: Language, Math, Business, and Economics. There are a few more, like Nursing, but it's not hard to see how these are less affected. This older co-worker I talk with has a son who knows five different languages. His son was offered to be a translator over in London, and as far as I know the guy is sitting pretty from that knowledge.
  6. Double Post for Hub Promo Achievement of Excellence!
  7. I think I might have a few more nightmares for the next week.
  8. We are talking about the assassination of an infamous terrorist who had eluded U.S. Forces for over a decade. If Obama decided against it, then we wouldn't have heard about a "failed" attempt because it wouldn't have been ventured. It would have become a "you'll never know" situation, something that I do think would cause the POTUS regret if it became a passed opportunity to put down Osama. Where I'm getting at is that no one is arguing whether it was right or wrong, because obviously Osama was indeed there and put down. Even Dick Cheney praised Obama for his decision. The problem now is that this decision is being toted in a reelection campaign. I'm not exactly thrilled about that, even though I sincerely doubt Obama believes "Would Romney make the call?" as a valid question. Still, campaigning is all about putting down your opponent through such means. As The New Yorker put it, it was a trap set for Romney. If he was going to refute the claim, then it shows him as going against the decision that put down Osama. If he remained quiet, then the campaign ad would have come off as a correct accusation. Now I would assume it isn't hard to simply go about how ridiculous the question is without address your opponent, but then again, it's campaigning. So yeah, one year ago, "Lets not make this into a big deal." Now, it's like politics is a dog chasing its own tail.
  9. Same here Yant. I'll never forget Dave Chappelle falling from the plane and landing on that old couple's car. Oh, and "put the bunny down."
  10. I didn't watch Napoleon Dynamite when it debuted back in 2004. In fact, I think it was early '07 when I actually watched the DVD. Absolutely without any hype, I enjoyed the film. I know the reason why I did was because I lived the majority of my life in a northwestern rural town, either a few miles from the border of Idaho or living in southern Idaho. It wasn't just that I could partially relate, but I liked the sense of humor. I always bust a gut when Napoleon throws a grapefruit at Uncle Rico's van causing him to scream like a girl. Other moments too, but during my own viewing, I must have rewound that scene a dozen times. Nacho Libre is also directed by Jared Hess, also co-written by him and his wife Jerusha. If you can't get through Napoleon Dynamite, then you probably won't be able to get through Nacho Libre. Jack Black is not very "Jack Black" in the film, but he has his moments where he comes back to himself. EDIT: About the only time where he breaks character, as I recall.
  11. I got better weapons, but truth be told, an M-8 Avenger X becomes better than a newly unlocked assault rifle. And it's not like I deeply cared for a custom appearance, but you have to admit there's something backwards about unlocking those options, especially when it requires credits which could be used for things that actually count. EDITL So yeah, it's not a "I don't have it" problem, it's a "I'm probably going to unlock Option X for Class Y Race Z."
  12. My favorite class is Sentinel, and I did unlock the Turian Sentinel (arguably one of the best), but I could only give him a single color and the only worth while weapon I had was the M-8 Avenger because it was one of two weapons that were upgrading. Even with all the time playing, I haven't unlocked the "skin tone" option for any of my alien classes. Heck, can't even adjust the lights and while I'm complaining about small options, it seems rather silly to unlock that little thing after countless hours of already playing the multiplayer. I still enjoyed the multiplayer, but it's this weird feeling that I've never fully played it. "Thanks for playing 100 hours, now here's your reward: a second color for the salarian engineer!"
  13. So Excel, you're saying that Xenoblade Chronicles is better than The Last Story? EXPLAIN YOURSELF! No, really, explain as EU has had these games a lot longer than the ol' NA market. I mean, The Last Story was back in February, but I'll have to wait until July.
  14. Ethan beat me to it, and you know, it is better than "Freedom Tower." I remember during my high school's trip to New York City in '06 a girl who lost an uncle got emotional/pissed when reading about it at an information center near the area. Kinda caused a scene too, but it was understandable in an uncomfortable sense.
  15. Decided to pre-order Dragon's Dogma tonight. I'm not the biggest fan of RPGs, but ironically all the games I'm looking forward to this summer are RPGs. While I would like to have tried Xenoblade Chronicles, I remembered The Last Story is this July.

    1. Waldorf and Statler

      Waldorf and Statler

only way I'm playing it is if my sister comes to my home country this summer and I can make her bring it :(

Xenoblade is BETTER than The Last Story.

  16. But even when you do get the class you want, once you hit Lv. 20, they're really only good for two things: Gold Challenge Attempts and Credits. You're not going to get the points to max out all their powers. There is the whole "Promotion" deal where you reset the character and receive a few points in War Assets. Yeah, I'll let you figure out if that's really "worth" it.
  17. The way I see it, Catwoman couldn't be worse than Halle Berry's rendition and Bane is bound to be better than the Bane from "Batman & Robin." I don't get thrilled seeing Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, but chances are she's going to serve her purpose.
  18. LMAO, watching Total Black Out. Contestant can't see, and must smell random items and answer correctly. Dude sticks his nose into the last item, says he knows the smell, smells again, almost throws up and coughs out it smells like ass. He got the point!

  19. I really did want to play more of the multiplayer, but as I've said time and again, the whole random progression hinders my continued interest. Not to mention no new characters (yet) from the DLC. Oh, but I got a second color option for the Human Soldier! Yeah, what's up with making each class and species customization separate? At least I got the Medi-Gel and Ops Survival capacity upgrades.
  20. What Jack said. As much as people kid with Christian Bale's Batman voice, you can still understand what he's saying through the rasps. Bane's voice? If Batman was gurgling gravel, then Bane was gurgling marbles.
  21. Yes! Any particular source from/for the artist, or did you dare venture Ponibooru to find that lone image?
  22. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, the best, if only the good part of U.S. Government class.
  23. First World Problem: Don't know if I should pre-order Dragon's Dogma. It's one of those games that could either be bad or good once you get the whole package.

I'm looking down at all of you for even discussing scores.

      Just so you know.

I don't pay attention to scores, I was trying to point out how messed up the system is.
