  1. I have a friend working with a client that does this energy gel shot called, "Gungho." As a gamer, their target audience, he asked for my opinion. I don't really know about it, what with how many foods and drinks marketed towards gamers there have been. So, if you guys could scroll through and give your impression, it would be helpful. http://www.gogungho.com/

Fuch: Six can't have too much phosphorous, due to his medical condition.

Ah, got it. Would they have to list all ingredients in the US? In Canada, it's a requirement, unless they sold it as a medicine instead of a food.

  2. How 'bout that thar "Pokemon Conquest?"

This looks like a game that shouldn't exist. And it also looks great.

Can't wait to be disappointed when it comes out. :D

This looks like a game that should be great, but probably won't be :( It's got GREAT potential, but there are SO many ways this could go wrong...

  3. I could jump back on, maybe somewhere this Friday. I decided to go ahead with a "ME3 FemShep" run. The default scenario (characters, choices, etc) is so lackluster compared to your own from previous games. Seriously, Grisson Academy is mundane without a pair of certain characters.
  4. Definitely watch 1 and 2, but it's a toss up between 3 and 4 to me. I rather not watch either of those two, but if I had to watch one, it would come down to a coin toss.
  5. I enjoy playing golf, not to mention I'm pretty decent at it, but it would be once every blue moon you would catch me watching it on television. Last golf video game I played was Wii Sports golf. Prior to that was Mario Golf 64, and I played that for a good while. Tried to have my father play along with me, but even a golf video game wasn't a good enough incentive to play video games.
  6. Only worth watching if you're a fan of anyone (Egoraptor, etc) in the group. (Personal favorite is the party catering one.)
  7. My Internet is through the apartment complex, rather than my own account*, so certain types of websites are blocked. The above link was blocked for "Hate/Discrimination," so take that for what you will. *Can't access College Humor, but paying $43 for all utilities makes it worth it.
  8. When I said I wouldn't post another April Fools... Stick around till the end; it gets better. (I promise.)
  9. I swear, last one I'll post, but you gotta give YouTube credit for the detail they put into this "YouTube Collection." Video in link, but look at the page for a bit first. "FIRST!"
  10. "You can tap it in the morning, you can tap it at night, you can tap it in the bathroom..." Don't tell me I'm the only one who found their mind in the gutter. If you have to have a Mass Effect April Fools, this is it. (+1 for Miranda's trademark cameo)
  11. My personal favorite:
  12. For once... ONCE I almost forgot about April Fools. It's on a Sunday, so not much coverage or motive to really "fool" people (that day) when they're on a day-off and hardly checking anything online. Yep, definitely forgot...
  13. If I ever get the time during the summer, I'm going to do a FemShep run with the Mass Effect 3 defaults and do whatever I want without worry of the consequences. Having seen some of the renegade scenes, it would be interesting to see where it all leads. Savoir of the Galaxy? Nah, I'm going to make sure we go out with a bang! It's not like my original run was my "Paragon" run, just I tend to be a peaceful Shepard... who might shoot you or punch you in the gut.
  14. Remember how I said Rovio was becoming like a miniature Disney? What with a resounding, "Nah." Angry Birds Land coming to theme parks in Europe, with US and China to follow. http://goo.gl/AsW1D (GameTrailers)

I always thought of them as a miniature Disney.

  15. Never collected all the Pokemon, just traveled everywhere doing all you can before it becomes level grinding for different teams. For the first time since Pokemon Red, the final boss/trainer actually gave me a challenge. Heck, even making it to the League was difficult given some of the Pokemon you encounter. Then you actually face the Elite Four and learn that their Pokemon have a range of different type attacks. Caught me completely off-guard when an AI Psychic-type used Thunder.
  16. I still might play a Pokemon game (Diamond, White), but gone are the days where I have every version completed. I don't know about Black/White 2.
  17. Hunger Games. I've read the books, and the movie actually improves on some areas of the book. It brings in different perspectives because the entire series is only through Katniss's eyes. You hardly read anything on the Game Maker, but in the film you actually get to see him and more of President Snow. Heck, they really fleshed out Snow because the first book just gives you the impression that he's an ass, not a cold, unforgiving tyrant. Not to mention they tied in to the second book in a more progressive, realistic method. FYI, some of the kills are tone down, but overall it's still satisfying. Best film this year to see a teen get his neck snapped, or throat slashed.
  18. I like the personality aspect though because not everyone is going to act the same based on their bending ability. I wouldn't think Haru to be similar to Toph or any of the more assertive Earthbenders. It kinda eliminates the stereotypes of the last series because now, with Empire City, we have mixed teams and gangs of benders. I say "kinda" because obviously there are different cultures, traditions, even genetics much like how Bolin was perplexed at how Korra was an "earthbender" though see was the striking image of a young water tribe female.
  19. Pretty good episode, not to mention we got an episode featuring the school and the students. The one working the printing press was a personal favorite. "Stop the presses!" "They haven't even started." Now part of me feels like the "Celestia is like us" bit is going to be brought back up. Twilight was ready to cry blasphemy, but just you wait!
  20. There's something down the line, but we're only hoping it's what we want, or really what someone personally wants. So even if we receive an Epilogue DLC, I can still see some fans being pissed that the multiple choice "ending" is still part of the game because rather than an extension, some wanted a completely revamped ending in the core game.
  21. Shameless self promotion, but I made a video. I had been watching episodes of Rocko's Modern Life, and this audio was too perfect to pass up.
  22. The impression I get, as far as a relative era is somewhere between the 30's and 40's. Radios, phonographs, and newspapers are the highest media technology, which would help explain if someone doesn't recognize Korra as the Avatar right away (Ep. 2) given that you'd have to see a single BW image from any newspaper. There are even sequences where the music resembles (big band) jazz. We have gangsters, along with freaking zeppelins! Yeah, they were war machines in the last series, but now it's like Gotham City with patrol units in the sky. Of course, who's to say we won't have a WTF technology moment like in The Last Airbender? Remember how the Fire Nation had some pretty advanced tanks, even by our standards. Tanks were probably one of the most difficult land vehicles to design, but they were there and they were beasts. Of course, the concept of... you know, I'll let the video say it. (I ain't spoilin' it with an embed!)
  23. Bay is already going with "aliens," so that covers a lot besides the martial arts bit I've already brought up. But I swear, he's going to pull up a "Our names are difficult to pronounce, so hmm... look at these guys!" Or, you know, he could piss off fans further and give them different names.
  24. For me, I was more into Transformers than TMNT as a kid. I had some of the classic toys, but my age set me up to begin with Beast Wars, which was a definite favorite of mine. Had a lot of the Beast Wars toys. Of course, I did have a few TMNT toys. I had that Donatello action figures that would speak certain lines or something if you pull different speech "strips" through it, or something. Anyway, most of my friends were more into TMNT, and eventually after Beast Wars ended, I couldn't get into any of the latter series. While I was fond of the Shredder-Alien bit in the latest TMNT series, I still enjoyed in a lot. But thinking now... If the turtles will be aliens, how are you going to explain their names? Splinter named them after Renaissance artists. Are you going to have a, "Well our society studied your's, blah blah" or will they need "Earth names?"
