  1. Eh, I'll probably went it for $2/day from Redbox like I did the first BLOPS for the single player.
  2. The way I see it, either party is willing to screw us over. It's just a matter of preference and approach. Campaigning is in full swing and we're going to see the depths to which either side will sink to to have the "upper hand." Out of context quotes, challenges, hypothetical questions, the works essentially when it comes to making one side appear to be the obvious answer. I'm seriously thinking of going on a Facebook hiatus because I'm beginning to see the "Obama/Romney, answer this" comments. Personally, I still don't know who I'll vote for. Doesn't seem to matter because if I'm in a "red state," a vote for Obama would go by like a fart in the wind. Electoral college, it makes sense for the 21st century!
  3. The OXM overview sold me on the game. The demo was easy, but looking at this, it looks like it will be one of those unforgiving RPGs if you're going to run around being an idiot. Definitely watch the other two overviews because the pawn system looks very interesting and there are HYBRID classes. I played as the Strider class in the demo, but I definitely want to experience some Mage abilities. So, if I go forth with those two classes, I can be a MAGICK ARCHER! You can see the guy playing in the video using the class.
  4. Playing Rayman Origins, saved another nymph and mother notices. "Look at those breasts, kids are going to get hard ons to this!" Dad and I laugh, new family joke. Thank you Rayman!

In my family an adult mentioning hard-ons would be considered an extreme faux pas.

      My family is very stale.

That is pretty much all families Johnny. Atomsk88 is just weird.

      I think you mean AWESOME.

  5. Oh neat, I check my Facebook and someone makes a status update about biting their sexual partner. Then his mom chimes in and it's like I'm reading the script of a sitcom. I don't have that many friends and this still happens!

      And its a disney film.

  6. I think it's heavily dependent on your actions from ME2, followed by simple dialogue choices in ME3. If you didn't do your best in ME2, chances are it would be rather difficult to receive that outcome by making up for it in the third game.
  7. Alright, I missed it on television (10 a.m. from now on), but found it online. The previews didn't really show Tarrlok's nature, so I didn't get what people were getting at because the raid preview shows Tarrlok as a charismatic task force officer. Nothing that devilish. Oh, but watching the entire episode, "funnytail" man (who smells like a lady) is very sly and ambitious. Tenzin is right to question his motives. This was a great episode, again, because it really displays more of Korra's personality. She's very reliant on force, her bending abilities as the Avatar. It's how others have defined here, and in her nightmares "Amon" says that she would be nothing. Her subconscious bring her fears to light in a persona (again, Amon). Spoilers! Now there's also great importance to what Dean noticed, because there is someone else in... As for Amon's words to Korra... Also, "Meelo, that is not a toilet!"
  8. Extended version of the Dubstep Dishwasher. P.S. I declare that "Female English accent + "Wub" = Alluring"
  9. I remember seeing that when the movie was in theaters. To this day, I'll never forget when as I was walking in a theater hallway, a father and son were walking just ahead of me when the boy sees the sign signifying "Yogi Bear" was playing. He turns to his father and says, "Dad, it's Yogi Bear. We should see that one!" The father looks at his son and calmly declares, "There's no way I'm letting you see that movie." I was witness to one of the greatest feats of parenting.
  10. What Johnny said. I can see Jak, Rachet, Sly, Crash, Parappa, and Spyro fighting each other. Yet it's like you would need another game for Kratos, Ezio, Radec, Cole MacGrath, Nathan Drake, and Sweet Tooth. Just, those two groups don't "gel" to me. With Smash, the most "out of place" character you had was Solid Snake in Brawl, and then if you got down to it Samus Aran. Captain Falcon technically, but he was made in Smash Bros. to the icon we know today.
  11. I dunno, it never really came to mind. I mean, there are people who love that idea and in fact it is partially the reason for this game's existence. While I would love to troll Sony fanboys by saying something along the lines of "Welcome to 1999," Sony's PlayStation was still young and the brand itself wasn't fully realized. Compared to Nintendo's 15 years of characters, the company didn't have the roster to compete. Heck, Sony was having trouble simply finding a mascot for the console. Perhaps why it doesn't "click" with me is how vastly different these Sony characters are. You have Kratos, a rampantly aggressive vengeful/wrathful demigod who's either busy having threesomes or killing monsters (possibly with boobies) in a brutal fashion. Now compare that to Parappa... you gotta believe! Radec, a sadistic and merciless military commander of a colony of space Nazi versus Sackboy (you know he's in), a loveable fabric avatar of creativity and fun.
  12. Just to add, aside from Balanced Brawl, recently there has been an on-going project called Project M that aims to add all the commonly perceived positive attributes of both Melee and Brawl into one ultimate Super Smash Bros. game. It works by running through a mod and... you know what, I'll just show IGN's commentary. Written Summary EDIT: So yeah, there is still massive dedication in the Smash community. And I agree with Strange that so far all PlayStation All-Stars has for it is the roster. Though, they'll definitely have to remember the PlayStation heritage because Fat Princess isn't nearly as thrilling as Crash Bandicoot or, if possible, Spyro the Dragon!
  13. I know I might seem too pessimistic about this, but this doesn't really have enough yet to "wow" me. There will be more revealed, especially the talk of third-party characters, but it's coming off as a bit mediocre. The integration of different games into a single stage is great. However, would the novelty wear off? LittleBigPlanet being built the same, and receiving the same questions from the "Buzz!" segment? Not to mention that the only stages shown so far are boxed in, which I guess is due to how you have to knock out characters. (I guess?) I'm not trying to be bias towards Smash Bros., but honestly when it comes to free-for-all fighters, Smash Bros. is the exception. Most everything else that has been in that sub-genre is usually mediocre. Of course, there's more than one franchise implemented here and so there is a lot of material to work with. Still, I can't help but feel like I'll need to play it to know if this will be good. The concept alone doesn't do it for me, not like Mario vs. Link vs. Star Fox vs. Pikachu. I've never had the urge to pit Kratos and Radec, or Parappa and Sly.
  14. I only got around to the customization bit, but I have to say you could make some freaky looking characters. It's not as in-depth as something from Bethesda or Bioware, so you have these preset features to a face or arm, and etc. Though I will add I didn't notice until halfway that edited some of the details like vertical height of your nose or mouth. Still, when going through the torso of my female pawn, more than half of them made her freakishly huge, either from her gut or massive shoulders!
  15. On the NA anniversary of Super Smash Bros., we see the first footage of Sony's PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Yep, 13 years ago on this day of April 26th.

Time to fire up Windows Movie Maker and make annoyingly unrealistic roster speculation videos

  16. Learned about Action Man from a Ashens review. It's so surreal watching something UK related and making the comparison to a US product, like Kinder Surprise to the now defunct Nestle Wonder Ball.
  17. Well... I guess it's GameStop since I happen to have enough points saved for $5 off. Though I have a $10 off certificate for Best Buy, which is much easier to get than GameStop's "Spend $500, get $5 off!"
  18. I've come home for my break, and while I get to play on our glorious 52" HDTV, I also have to use our wireless. It's a great router, except within that 40 feet the signal dampens to where the PS3 gets 60% strength. Downloading 1.5GB took 3.5 hours... I miss my ethernet connection.

My "VM Mediahub" has shit wi-fi. It cycles on n off every few seconds. Only bother is for my phone (since no Ethernet) but I should really get it sorted out.

      Faiblesse Des Sens

Not to mention the PS3 only has Wireless-G to begin with. Not exactly great speeds. You can game just fine, but downloads won't be as quick as wired.

  19. Where did you guys even get Xenoblade Chronicles? Not even Amazon sells it, at least not itself as other sellers mark-up the retail price. I've finally arrived in my hometown, so maybe the stores have it here, but really, North America finally receives Xenoblade Chronicles and it's nowhere to be found!
  20. Yeah, we won't see the episode until Saturday morning. Does it come out on Thursday for you, or was it a leak?
  21. My cousin went through three N64 controllers, all broken because he would go bananas on the analog stick. Compared to him, I was a disgruntled gamer.
  22. Could you link the video so I know what not to mention or not. EDIT: Quote tags were goofing up, and I don't know why...
  23. As far as powers go as strength depends on whether Hulk gives Thor a hard time or not. Today there was a clip from the movie uploaded where Tony Stark is going toe-to-toe with Thor and it rustled the fanboys' jimmies. I mean, I'll agree that the Iron Man suit probably shouldn't have withstood a hit from Mjolnir, but you can't help but get giddy when these characters get together and have a tussle. Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark is my favorite!
  24. As far as the Classic Controller, I think the Classic Controller Pro was partially built with that in mind too. Speaking of Nintendo controllers, the GameCube controller (as I fixed one last night). It gets a lot of flak, but a problem that's valid is how cheap it is inside. I had the pleasure, for the second time, of having a GCN controller's B button becoming mush. I didn't have to replace anything, but the problem was that the rubber pad inside was warped for the B button. All it took was stretching it a bit to get it back in form. Though, in the 11 years I've had the controller, I never realized how the Y button was curved towards your thumb. That's actually pretty good since you have to extend your thumb forward.
