  1. I haven't watched the leaked first episode of Legend of Korra, but you know that the first TWO episodes will debut THIS Saturday on the Korra Nation website.

  2. I'm with HH and Ethan on this one: it was pretty clear for me. Take note that I also read your (Dean) spoiler tag about the two characters before that mission was even available to me. Considering those two are in my Top 5 favorite characters of Mass Effect, I wanted to know. So...
  3. I thought for sure I did every I guess it's easier to believe I done goofed somewhere early on in the game. Still, I think I preferred my outcome (same as your's). Also, I just discovered that there are two different outcomes to the Rachni Queen.
  4. Yeah I was able to do that because I did what W&S said. I didn't look it up or anything, I just knew I had to complete the little things before the big mission. Now when it comes to the Illusive Man... Good thing there's YouTube!
  5. My Shepard, even though he was a nice guy, only talked about him once. Obviously you can't change how many dreams you had, but it wasn't that bad for my character. It's only implied that the kid is this unique simply because Shepard would watch the kid play while he was "contained" to his living quarters. It's all rather creepy than heart-wrenching. The So yeah, in case no has noticed, I had a relatively good guy Shepard. I had a portion of Renegade, but I was overwhelmingly Paragon. The only part I was a complete raging mess physically hitting someone was I have to say though, Shepard can be a real evil SOB in Mass Effect 3. I was watching "alternate" (for me) scenes for Wrex and Mordin on Tuchanka. Oh, and for Legion and Tali. Really depressing if you're a backstabbing asshole of a Shepard.
  6. To be honest Ethan, I think it came down to, "Hey, lets be dramatic and show this happening to X because of Y" with no more thought. I mean, Still, trying to make a mule into a horse if you ask me.
  7. The reason everyone "assumes" the But as Dean as said, even if we explain that part, there are still plot holes.
  8. I would say it's because Essentially eye of the storm, or what have you. I mean, it did appear that way.
  9. You guys remind me of the match I was in a few days ago with two high leveled Vanguards and another Sentinel. Dudes were takin' all the kills and running up to mobs of Cerberus soldiers leaving only slim pickings. Yeah it's nice to gracefully make it to Wave 11, just I didn't really have to do anything and so I got probably the smallest amount of points from any of my matches. EDIT: As for changing or not changing the ending, I would keep the ending, but the inevitable (it was coming either way) DLC better be great. It more than likely will be some sort of epilogue DLC, whether it's with our familiar cast or perhaps a future generation swapping stories and facts about Shepard and the Normandy's crew. Sort of like a, "Whatever happened to that Garrus fellow? I heard he retired and does calibrations for the fun of it."
  10. Actually got to finish the game myself, which required a little late night rundown. Still, I couldn't see myself starting the final mission and picking it up 18 hours later. To start off, I have had an amazing time with the game. It was really only today when things became frustrating like being disconnected from EA servers during multiplayer and my game freezing twice. Still, I'll say it again, the character dialogue and interaction is amazing. Garrus has amazing lines, as well as others we've mentioned. I made sure to check all of the Normandy for the dialogue bits. That said, this leads into what has bothered me for some time: the DLC and multiplayer. I won't go into detail because, again, it has been discussed, but Javik actually had some plot driven moments for an "optional" teammate. I really don't like the randomized pack system for multiplayer because I feel like it limits my potential. I have so many shotguns, but I don't use them. I want to use another assault rifle, but the three other rifles are still at Lv 1 whereas my M-8 Avenger is now Lv 6. Thankfully I've unlocked a few other classes I want to try playing. You can completely see the manipulative nature to Mass Effect 3. I mean, I will never pay money for multiplayer packs, but there's a sucker born every minute and so there's another source of revenue added to the game. I collected more than enough assets in my 40 hours, actually to the point I nearly had 7,000. With 3,500 at 50%, I would definitely have to play a little multiplayer to get the good ending for... It's true what everyone has said about the last ten minutes. It's like running a marathon, but not crossing the finish line because you tripped over a beaver. It's not that you didn't finish that's so perplexing, it's that you tripped over a damn beaver. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! It hasn't ruined the game for me though, and there's a lot of ridiculous crap going on for both parties as we've discussed. Here's the thing though, it really didn't have to end up the way it did, even with the same plot if they were so inclined. SPOILERS! If they forced an ending on you based on prior actions, that's kinda what people expected, right? I mean, if you're going to have multiple endings anyway. If there were only two, I think people would indeed be pissed if they were stuck with the bad ending, but I guess we would have to say, "It's how you played Mass Effect, it's your doing." I'm starting to ramble as it's late for me... and I have taken quite some time typing this, so there. EDIT: Oh wait, WAIT! Was about to log out, but I remember the other
  11. Except when you first return to the Citadel in ME2, there is the issue of a "dead" Shepard walking onto the Citadel. Thus you have to go and visit that C-Sec desk where we first meet Sgt. Bailey and get it straightened out. You also happened to talk to the Council, so I doubt you could keep up the whole "phantom" persona for all the crap you're doing with Cerberus.
  12. Ditto. I really hate Lori, not to mention I've begun to dislike the women of the show too. Carol tried to get Daryl to become Shane 2.0 by saying he should challenge Rick, and Maggie tried to convince Glenn they (the two of them) could make it on their own. Actually, I think the whole
  13. I've got mixed feelings about the piercing mod. At least in single player it never seems worth it. I had it on my Geth Assault Rifle and when facing non-armored enemies it just took a little too long to take out the common enemy types due to the near half damage reduction. I always have Garrus in my squad, so I have him use Armor-Piercing Ammo for the squad. EDIT: Of course, in multiplayer it would be a different story, but I also like to keep my weapons to two and thus I stick with an assault rifle and sniper rifle. In single player, I have three but that's thanks to the Ultralight Materials V mod for my SMG. Thing barely weighs anything and I have a +96% Power Recharge Speed
  14. Quite frankly, if I were not a Sentinel, most of my teams would be dead from Guardians. It was only once, but some fool was the only one left alive and we had one more target to kill before time ran out. What did he do the entire 45 seconds left? Tried to kill a single Guardian with the default pistol. Nevermind that you should roll behind them if you don't have a sniper rifle or Throw, he just kept facing him head on. Took out three Guardians in a row when I was the only one left alive. Hopefully my teammates of the time were watching how to handle them.
  15. That's great to know. I was beginning to think that we had a little black market going on in Canterlot to supply the school with dragon eggs.
  16. Not to spoil anything, but in case you guys have watched... If "The Truth" DLC does come to light, and is as we think it is, then the show and Mass Effect are way similar. EDIT: At least it's nice to know I got the "hidden" plot to ME2 after that revelation. It was the only thing that made sense if you ask me.
  17. What a coincidence... I was about to post that image tonight too! Got a little sidetracked with talking about the newest episode.
  18. That's what makes it intriguing though, right? For most of the first season it was just, "Twilight Sparkle had a dragon egg that hatched, thus Spike." Once the episode, "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" aired, you find out Twilight received the egg as a test for acceptance into Princess Celestia's school of magic. It's kinda set up as though Spike were kidnapped because if he were rescued, then why is his egg being used as a test? Say his egg was abandoned or lost, like our new phoenix friend, why use it as a test?
  19. Definitely one of my favorite episodes yet. Fluttershy's style of bursting through the window, more dragons, Crackle, even Rarity's attitude to Spike. I'm not into the whole "Spike x Rarity," but it goes to show that Rarity isn't taking advantage (what little there was) of him anymore and actually appreciates his company. In fact, I would say this solidifies Spike's role in the group as a valued friend rather than just Twilight's assistant who's here and there. They'll definitely have to address his origin again though. This episode is actually based off an old G1 episode of essentially the same plot. However, I think that series just left Spike as a, "Yelp, I'm a good dragon with pony friends." Can't really fault it since there wasn't anywhere near the quality and narrative of Friendship is Magic.
  20. The descriptions from the datapads for Firewalker indicate it contains data, so I guess that's it. Just of all the DLC, Firewalker doesn't seem to have anything to do with ME3. Arrival explains current batarian relations and Shepard's situation in the beginning of the game. Overlord had a part to play with both... Shadow Broker was the best ME2 DLC, and everyone should have played it with how much is discussed about its events in ME3, especially when you have Garrus around. EDIT: Of course, those had narratives whereas Firewalker was "Get the M-44 Hammerhead and scan stuff!"
  21. I hear ya, and for me the majority of bronies happen to be high school teens. I have less than a year until I graduate college, so while we have a shared interest... it would just be weird, don'cha think? Makes me more motivated in starting a get-together on campus.
  22. Maybe... Or maybe not... But probably... Or just likely!
