Yeah, this is really important. While there might be an awesome Fighting-type move such as Force Blast, if the Pokemon isn't strong with Sp. Attack, it won't be a good move for the Pokemon because that's a Sp. Attack move. That's the reason why I had my Haxorus forget Dragon Pulse and keep Dragon Claw.

Glad others have seen Ashens' "Ramble, I mean Review!" I couldn't try out the vertical distance when I went to Best Buy, but I'm glad you can have good range in that regard. I would think that's more important than turn your handheld to the left more. While it's a 3DS, the Augmented Reality I think could be a stronger selling point than the 3D. Really, I've seen people flip out after seeing AR like it's some kind of techno-magic. EDIT: When you see it...

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
CorgiShinobi replied to CorgiShinobi's topic in Multi-Platform Games
You know that enemy was actually a product of an advanced strain of the Progenitor virus and Jill Valentine's T-virus antibodies, right? While Las Plagas were present in Resident Evil 5, it wasn't the driving force behind Uroboros. Since Ada Wong never actually delivered a Master Plaga to Wesker, all he could use was a modified Control Plaga. Still effective for urban bio-warfare, but it wasn't strong enough to become the bio-weapon Wesker envisioned. That's why Wesker continued working on his Uroboros project, which led him to Umbrella's African division and the Progenitor flower. So yeah, we did go back to Progenitor and T-virus. Not much with G-virus, but I would definitely want to see a hybrid with Las Plagas. By far, I enjoyed Las Plagas. Los Ganados were a much larger threat than zombies, and creepy too as they were still human, but savage, powerful, fast, and organized. -
I guess I'm not allowed to co-op with anyone if I'm going to be shunned for using an analog stick. Guess I'll have to annoy the only gamer staying in college over summer to come over and play.

Previously I had a simple "Portal 2" wallpaper, but Atlas and P-body are cool robots! B)

The Lucky Egg helpful, and I believe Experience is relative to the Pokemon's level, but only when you've used two or more against an opponent. Really, you've got to go for a Joltik while you're in Chargestone. Galvantula is hands down the best Electric-type of Gen V. Since you started with Tepig, I wouldn't worry about Litwick. Really, the appropriate time to evolve him is at Lv. 61, so I had a Lampent while facing the Elite Four and so on. I've only been worrying about a team because while I was training Pokemon to face the ending, I wanted my time to be dedicated to Gen V Pokemon I could make a team out of for later in the game. Honestly, I'll probably resort to some tried-and-true classics to fill in some slots.

Well, GLaDOS is back! So, like, so much for that!
-
Gonna try that out. I'm sorry I didn't realize that Celebi event not too long ago would also unlock Zorua in the game because those two are friends!
-
I'm kinda confused at what to really do after finishing the main story. I found one of the Sages, but I know the rest will be along the new areas and such. Do I go to the White Forest right now, because going to the Dreamyard basement was almost suicide. I've only found two old Pokemon; Goldeen and Gligar. So, yeah, not such a happy reunion.
-
I would say that the robots do have more marketability because, as far as I'm aware, have shown more character than the actual main character. I forget her name, but she kinda just exists to be your avatar. Not to mention there isn't a grand overarching storyline and GLaDOS provides most of the narrative. So yeah, the robots definitely have the advantage.

Not going to lie, but robots give off Appeal +5 for me. Subconsciously, I think that's what makes me like things like Wall-E, Daft Punk, Killzone, and FLCL even more. MOTHERLICKIN' ROBOTS!

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Resident Evil 4 Those are the only ones that are 5+, what with Resident Evil 4 being 10+ and Ocarina of Time being... I lost count after 17, so it's a lot. Most games I play twice or three times, and then I move onto another game.

I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil, but Resident Evil 4 is easily in my Top 5. With that I'll occasionally check any news on upcoming Resident Evil titles. Here's one! You know those rumors of Slant Six Games branching off into a Resident Evil game? Well, Operation Raccoon City is that game. If you've played any recent Resident Evil, you know that the games have taken a strong liking to action rather than horror. This has always been a complaint, but you could still admire the new nasties that you have to pummel with lead. Operation Raccoon City, while a spin-off, still follows the new objective of action rather then the ancestral urge to survive from creepy experiments. You're in Raccoon City, for the Xth time, and... Well, I'll let you read the article and comment.

I went to Google how long a sunburn might last, and as I'm typing "How long does a" the suggestions... Bad combination of topics, man...

I've been around a lot of tall people. While I was one of the tallest in my preteen years, once middle school came, everyone was gaining the advantage! Usually I'm around guys my height or a few inches taller. Seen a few short guys, but I've also seen people 6'8" and above.

Usually I get games and movies, so if I were to take a picture, my lovely background would be a white table. I liked the Post Your Game Area thread because everyone got to see the behemoth I use to store my games, movies, books, and various knickknacks.

Oddly, it's not quite like that. I mean, the movie is pretty terrible for a host of reasons, but it's not, erm, sexy enough to be a real 13 year old boy's fantasy. I mean, the movie seems to take place in worlds constructed to be the fantasies of 13 year old boys, but the film's perspective is a bit different. Well, one complaint I've heard is that it doesn't make sense. However, with that complaint I've heard advocates of the film saying, "It doesn't need to make sense since the girls are crazy!" Sure, you can have crazy people, but I don't think that would be an excuse for a poor story and/or writing.

I've thought of taking pictures of some of my purchases... Then I get lazy and Google Image the product instead of pulling out my camera and inserting the SD card into my laptop, and then uploading it to Photobucket.

Considering my profession is going to be Advertising, I was dishearten when Valve came out and basically said, "Ad agencies are worthless because they're unoriginal and terrible." Then again, I've always believed that creative works benefit more from in-house advertising, so it's about time they came around! Nah, but really, when I heard the news, I began wondering how you could advertise the game. For the most part, those who are gamers know exactly who Valve is and have at least seen their work thanks to their previous efforts like Team Fortress 2's "Meet the..." Not to mention millions have at some point heard, "THE CAKE IS A LIE!" So, really, Valve barely needs advertising when it comes to their target audience. The target market however, yeah, you could reel in a million or so more with a good television ad. Truthfully, Valve nailed it. In fact, I was thinking the same concept right before I watched their television ad. (What about two portals in a corner and running in a circle!) With advertising you've got to show the benefits, not a laundry list of features. With Portal 2, yeah, you could go on and on about all the new game mechanics, but what does that all boil down to? Basically, in that television ad, and with (almost) no words, you know that you'll have a device that creates portals and with those portals the laws of physics are your tools to manipulate so as to progress through highly dangerous obstacles. That is what separates Portal from practically almost every video game.

I swear, as far as the post count topic goes, forums that "unlocked" forum functions through post count had a hand in the e-penis mentality. I could see it being helpful so spammers, and etc, didn't go on a rampage... BUT C'MON, 2,500 TO POST A PICTURE?!

I never got the hype for Sucker Punch. Oh, it has babes and video-game-like fantasies? Alright, but I'm going to have to see it to believe this prophecy of excellence. The more I hear about it, from reviews and others, it sounds like a 13 year-old's wet dream after a midnight marathon of Xbox and Fritos.

I finished the story of Pokemon Black/White. I thought it was a decent ending. It wasn't simply a, "Your Pokemon like you, ok that be good!" N said that... As for the actual Pokemon battles... EFF MAN! I got my team to be around Lv. 51-52, so N wasn't actually that bad of an opponent. Kinda lame how Zekrom was Lv. 50, you know, because of how... Basically, if that Pokemon was going to be lame, I was going to be lame. Go Zekrom! *Revive Haxorus* Zekrom fainted! Go Haxorus! *Revive Zekrom* Haxorus fainted! Go Zekrom! Repeat for 11 more times and that's how I got that Pokemon to deplete its Power Points for Dragon Pulse.

BioShock 2 had improved elements over the first, but I guess people want an entire revolution when it comes to a sequel. Yeah, it was a stretch to revisit Rapture, but being a fan of the series, I was simply receiving more of what I like. For me, the one aspect I've liked the most in BioShock is the Daddy-Sister relationship. So really, playing as a Big Daddy and protecting Little Sisters in the sequel was my cup of tea. Combat was improved, but really, there wasn't an grand mystery or twist. They should have gone along with the plot where Delta was actually the father of that girl. Instead, you really were just a twisted experiment hellbent on rescuing a girl. I look forward to Infinite mainly for the new locale. Rapture was dark and wet; now we'll have sunshine and... OH POOP I'M FALLING TO MY DEATH, BLLAAAHHHHHH!!!!

Here at TAY we've been doing a good job of responding/commenting after a vote. It's not like someone well make a thread and all the responses are in +1/-1. Besides, sometimes it's better than a, "Oh cool, thanks" post. Really, the one time I would say it got out of control was the lil' controversy with... Well, I don't want to get involved, so I'll have others explain.
