  1. Bullet-point, and since AC1 already existed on PS3 they didn't even have to port it. It was basically 0 work, and I really doubt they were making much from sales of AC1 anyway. *Edit* - I'll have to try a golf game on my Move once it gets here. My father in law would probably like it too.
  2. Yeah, the problem is the regular media just picks up on the sensational findings of whatever study, without being bothered by the fact that it was published in Pseudoscience Monthly because none of the real publications would run it.
  3. FXAA worked quite nicely in Skyrim too. But yeah, the only games where we might see MSAA would be ones that aren't terribly taxing on the system to begin with.
  4. Okay, that's an important distinction. Yeah, people are crappy and even "scientists" will distort data to support their ideas (not all of them, I'd even say not most of them, but certainly some of them).
  5. At first I was like "meh, it can render in 2k, who has a 2k tv?" but then I realized that would allow 2x MSAA on a 1080p TV, and MSAA is quite a bit better than FSAA (standard antialiasing), so that's kinda cool.
  6. Well it's not entirely a donation, every Kickstarter I've seen treats each pledge as a preorder at the least.
  7. I think best developer. Best publisher would just end up going to Nintendo I'm sure.
  8. Oh god, sales like that are going to give me a reading backlog similar to my Steam backlog, I just know it...
  9. I assumed you'd gotten a Vita, but that the "thanks" part was a joke.
  10. AFAIK the only thing that works in the US is 911.
  11. Yeah, forgot PhysX is Nvidia. The reason I keep getting Nvidia cards over ATI is because in the past I have had nothing but trouble with ATI's drivers and game compatibility.
  12. I get the rabbit and door one, but the other three sailed right over my head.
  13. That would make sense, except they explicitly explain at one point in The Last Airbender that the Avatar's most difficult element is always the element opposite their natural one. *Edit* - As I said, Korra's philosophy/approach to problems seems more like that of an earth bender.
  14. I'm sure PhysX will be supported next gen.
  15. Finally broke down and got it. It was actually cheaper than getting the three Move components all separately.
  16. I learned it when I was a kid because of the word "Pokémon". True story.
  17. alt+130 (on the numpad only) also makes é
  18. I seem to have made a tradition of watching through the series every summer.
  19. I would have bought that several times before in Steam sales and such, except for the fact that the DLC isn't included so that adds quite a bit more to the cost.
  20. I've never understood the hate for the Library. I like that level. I do agree that overall I prefer fighting Covenant though.
  21. I like Tali, I just don't like like her. /flashback to middle school
  22. I don't think a quarter is too far to round. The only kind of situation where it seems like it would be a problem is like the rare time when you only need to buy one screw or washer or something. *Edit* - As for the gas thing, yeah that seems kind of shady, since it's only reasonable purpose is to make the price look 1c lower. Constitutionally speaking I think that's a lot more squarely under the commerce clause than a lot of the other things they use it for, so I wouldn't see a problem with the feds regulating it. Not that I necessarily think they should, just that I don't think it would be a constitutional issue.
