  1. Yeah, I'm all for eliminating the penny, nickel, and dime. I think 25c is a small enough measurement of currency. As for the Lincoln thing, he's also on the $5 so I don't think we would even need to put him on another coin/bill.
  2. I don't think he's gotten enough entries yet.
  3. I'm actually more okay with non-canon zombie DLC spinoffs like Undead Nightmare and the Yakuza thing than I am with straight-up zombie games now. I'm sick of zombie games, but the spin-offs, if done right, can just be a silly little addition to an existing game.
  4. I think a larger part of the problem is Bioware's misrepresentation of what the endings would be like. One of the devs actually said there wouldn't be an ABC ending. There was also a lot of talk about how now that they don't have to bring it together for a sequel the endings can diverge wildly. I don't think there would have been this same kind of backlash and demands to "fix" it if they had lived up to those statements, even if people still ultimately didn't like the outcomes.
  5. Best villain would be cool. I think favorite character would probably be too similar to best franchise.
  6. Sure, the major shape of events is determined by Bioware, but then I'm not one of the people saying they should change the ending they already put in, I just want some kind of epilogue to acknowledge what happened later as a result of my actions. *Edit* - I would also argue that the "story" of Mass Effect isn't a story about the events, it's a story about the characters, and that IS determined largely by the player (how you interacted with them, who you formed attachments to, who died, etc).
  7. Yeah, I would have preferred a regular expansion to RDR, even though I did really like Undead Nightmare. I want to play RDR again...
  8. But they've added infinity billion more pokemon, which actually imo has detracted from the game.
  9. Pokemon is for kids in the same way that Mario is for kids. I won't say it's not an accurate description, but they're still great games (at least the first few, haven't played much since Silver).
  10. I think there's one critical flaw in that article, where it says that Mass Effect is Bioware's story. As I said before: Mass Effect isn't Bioware's story, it's every individual player's story. I don't think it's video games generally that are different from other media, I think it's Mass Effect specifically, and other player-authored experiences, that are.
  11. Well that actual dialog isn't from the show, it's clips respliced and redubbed. Or do you mean you don't remember the part with the hot air balloons?
  12. I dunno, maybe I'm weird, but so far almost every time I've looked at the deals I'm like "yep, nothing I'm interested in".
  13. That's not the way it works, I've said this plenty of times before. Studios make their own decisions as to artistic direction and story. Unless you work for either the studio or publisher involved or can produce a quote from either one to that effect please stop saying "X makes Y do Z." I honestly don't even really know what I meant by that... I didn't mean EA said to Bioware "make an ABC ending" though, and I can't remember what I was saying well enough to better articulate it, so I retract my statement. Yeah, I don't see that happening.
  14. So I'm a tool and reading Hunger Games. I'm on the third book, but so far I think the first was definitely the best. It kind of did that thing where it could work either as a series or as a standalone book if it didn't become popular enough to justify more, and I think it would have been better off just to be completely standalone.
  15. I'd say the combat in AC:B was the best (before the addition of your assassin followers, cause I agree that's like cheat mode).
  16. alt+alt+4 doesn't do anything on my keyboard except make windows ding at me.
  17. Oh, I see, "Alt Gr" is one key. We don't have that, we just have two Alt keys.
  18. I'd agree with you, except they're already doing what EA tells them to do, so as long as they're not letting that creative spirit fly we might was well try to direct their shilling into improving the game. As for the cupcake thing: that was kind of an impressive display of dick-jitsu. Fans criticize the game in a way that's nice and not hateful, but still somehow manages to seem like a dick move, so Bioware turns their own force against them by giving the cupcakes to homeless kids. Pretty awesome.
  19. 1! 2@ 3# then the rest are the same. Also, what does the "Gr" in "Alt Gr+4" mean?
  20. Yeah, I'd like to see if that's actually a trend or if it just looks that way because of the specific years chosen. Would we get the same results if we looked at 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010?
  21. My favorite thing about DVR's is the hilarious expressions you see on people's faces when you pause.
  22. They seriously charge $330 for a copy of player's jersey? I just... I can't... Really?
  23. It looks like she's trying to smile for the camera and someone has just said something that she finds horribly, horribly offensive. That's an "oh my god, I can't believe you just said that" face.
