Sad that Skyrim didn't get the same DLC treatment as Fallout 3 :-\

OH FUCK IT'S SO GOOD!

Broke down, traded in some 360 games and got...

I've also purchased Guacamelee! Plus I used my $10 PSN coupon for...

OoT is my favourite game of all time.. but I don't know how well it's aged.. if you've never played it before it might not be that great. I'd say Twilight Princess. It's basically OoT with updated graphics and slightly more modern gameplay. Avoid the Wii version though.

I finished Tomb Raider. Loved the shit out of that game. Now.. I wait till I can get Bioshock Infinite.
-
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ YES. This. Give me a 128GB card, so I can have all my Vita, PSP, and PS1 games on my Vita, with room to spare.
-
Nailed it. I'd rather see memory card prices slashed, than the system itself. If the 3DS, which is a babies toy can go for 169/199, than 250 for the Vita is a very reasonable price, IMHO. There actually was Vita redesign rumours (a patent was place, I seemed to recall) a few months ago, with an HDMI output (which would be cool. What would be even cooler is if you could just wirelessly stream your Vita games to the PS4 and play them on TV.. do it, Sony!).

So can we all agree: Rocket Raccoon > Superman
-
Everyone I meet is all "omfg Superman is so great" and I'm all "NO!"
-
THANK YOU. THANK YOU! Finally. Someone else who understands that Superman is awful. Superman 64 is the definitive Superman game because it sucks as hard as Superman does. That said, as a blind Marvel fanboy who can only tolerate the Batman-family..... if there's ever a AC sequel not featuring Batman, give us Nightwing. Thanks!

Someone needs to lock GRRM in a room, with a typewriter, and his sailor hat (so he doesn't get lonely), and force him to write.

I think I'm 75% done Tomb Raider, it really, really, reminds me of Arkham City but better, IMO. However, I disagree with "better set pieces than Uncharted". So far I haven't seen anything as impressive as the train sequence in UC2, and the buildings that burn down haven't been as impressive as they were in UC3. Not to say it's not impressive, but it's just not as good as Uncharted, IMHO. My other problem with Tomb Raider is the collectables. I appreciate them, and it does add more to the game, but when you get to a new area and your friend on the radiois screaming for you to help them, it takes a lot of the urgency and emotion out of the game to go around lighting statues, finding GPS caches, that sort of thing. I know a lot of games have this problem but Tomb Raider seems to be more obvious about it, probably because the game is so brutal to Lara and her friends.

Especially in ADWD. I hope GRRM realizes that HBO can't take forever finishing this series, this show will probably have to be done around season 7 or 8. Bran/Arya/Sansa/etc are already looking much older than at the beginning of the series, and production costs are only going to increase. How on earth is he going to get the final two books out in time? If the TV show finishes first, how will that affect the books!?!?!??!
-
Agreed. The one chapter with the tower and a close encounter with someone else was exciting, I'd love to see that on screen. I just remember Bran chapters being a total drag. And then, in ADWD, when he finally does something interesting, he gets like 3 chapters.
-
Haven't seen the episode yet but I know who is introduced in Season 3 for Bran's storyline... and they're characters he should have already met. He should have? Says who? Why does the TV show have to be straight adaption? Bran's storyline in book 3 is At least with the way the TV show did it, he's meeting these characters now, which, again, IMHO, is more interesting than

Lot's of people are losing their shit over Arkham Origins not being from Rocksteady. Here's some facts for you to remember: 1) It's being produced by Warner Bros Montreal... CANADIANS. We Canadians are unnaturally talented at producing video games. 2) Everyone lost their shit about Fallout New Vegas not being produced by Bethesda, and it was a pretty great game. 3) You don't have to be an incredible developer to take assets produced by another developer, follow their structure, and get a competent game. As long as they don't go about trying to change everything, it shouldn't be too hard to make "more of the same", which looks like the case. In other news, Armature Studios is developing a spinoff game that'll be a 2.5D Metroid style Batman game for the Vita. Count me as excited.

Hey look: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/04/08/veteran-tech-blogger-spills-xbox-720-reveal-date-pricing-and-more Someone on the internet is quoting anonymous sources and saying that the XBox 360 will be released in November! IGN UK! TIME TO DO A REPORT ON IT! Oh shit! He's also taking a guess-- I mean, his sources say, that price will be 500 dollars. NEWS! So if I quote anonymous sources and say the PS4 is coming out in November, you know, the month game consoles come out, and also take a guess at the price, can I be reported on by "gaming journalists"? UK ones of course, who clearly have nothing to report because all the news breaks for the EST/PST timezones.

Every time I read a Kotaku article, and I get to the bottom, I think "I will not read the comments... I will not read the comments". Then I read the comments, and get things like this: From this article. Gamers can be the fucking worst people. Talk about grasping at straws for things to complain about.

Books 3 - 5 are all really slow. The TV show has picked up the pace in a lot of respects like when Davos Or even Bran

Ethan and Thursday: Hug it out, boys! I don't care too much if the 720 is always on (though, given that internet is not always available in all places, I think it's kind of a dumb idea, and the only people who will benefit will be Sony). But this guys attitude pisses me off. It's the same arrogant attitude that all of the XBox portion of Microsoft seems to have these days, and last hardware developer that acted like that, launched the PS3. Microsoft needs to humble up, as a big part of their success this generation actually comes from Sony fucking up the PS3 launch (a year late, 600 dollars, software). A good comment I saw said "I will deal with it... by purchasing a PS4".

Worlds biggest eye roll when I read "Zelda hasn't been exciting since Ocarina". I enjoyed Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, but if other people don't, that's fine. But Majora's Mask and Wind Waker?! C'mon bro, seriously now. Never mind the Capcom Zelda games which came after Ocarina. But, that said, he has some points. Wii U is just too late to the party. An "advanced" version of the Wii, that was comparable to PS3/360 but could also play Wii games was something that should have happened years ago, not on the eve of the PS4/720. If Wii U is missing out on Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising, and Bioshock Infinite now, what's going to happen when equivalent PS4/720 games are released one, two, three years?
-
I needed something to tie me over till Bioshock Infinite is cheaper. So far, I really like it. I was expecting it to be very Uncharted-esque but it's actually a lot more like Arkham City. Though my tolerance for QTEs is fucking gone.
