Anyone know if you can disable the Vita automatically trying to connect to the PS4 when you plug it through USB? When you plug it in, it says "Connecting to PS4", then fails anyway. I'd just like to have it charge, if possible...

Did you just excavate this post or has it been dug up long ago? I tried looking for it multiple times but it was always missing. Sad no new iPads. I was waiting for a mini with Touch ID. It would be interesting to see how Apple pay works with regards to vendor support and security. Passbook, AFAIK, never really took off. I guess this is the part that was missing. Kinda surprised about the look of the body of the applewatch. Looks fat, and I bet those who were hoping it'd use curved glass like in those crazy mock ups are disappointed. I like the interface though. And the dial thing. If it gets less smudges on the screen it's a good thing! And one thing I hate, absolutely hate, about the iOS interface is the date picker. With the dial, at least it'd be a lot better to set dates. Oh, and they spoke about watch faces being customizable, but it looks like you just get a preset, with at least one where you can pick which info shows. I wonder if it'll support third party wathfaces, since they're into extensions now anyway. Oh well, I'm not really interested in getting a smart watch. Also, free U2! There. I've said my piece. WWE is having fun with the celeb photo scandal. Honestly, I laughed out loud.

^ I really don't like death penalties. Frequent checkpoints, even if the enemy respawned, would be what I prefer. Even just losing money is annoying. Losing shit in death has a negative effect on me. It never makes me want to do better or be more careful. It just annoys me. Permadeath? Waste of time. I don't mind having lives vs infinite continues though, I guess that's a bit related. That one does make me want to do better. Usually though games like these are different and having lives are built into gameplay like platformers. Wouldn't really work on a skyrim or a diablo.

X4 is awesome. Zero is awesome. I love all the X games though. Too bad only X was remaked for the PSP. Are these games on the Vita/PSN?

What!? I loved Chrono Cross! Even before I knew it was critically acclaimed. One of the games that got me in the genre!

I've stepped the difficulty up as I went through the first time, ended up switching to Master on the final chapter + reaper. I thought I was doing it easy when I was on Expert... I probably just had good gear. On my 2nd character now, my wizard and I'm just staying on Expert. I can handle Master but enemies take too long to kill and hit for huge numbers. It's more fun playing on expert. If you get better gear, I recommend switching to Expert, when you're around lvl 30, maybe 35 to 40. I also would like to say, that aside from the back touchpad acting as R2, this game is awesome on remote play! EDIT: Didn't notice Strangelove mentioning Expert. Yeah, I agree. I think Expert has the right balance as you're leveling up and going through the story.

To a certain degree, it's about the same as when you're playing with friends. I mean, yeah you could check your inventory for 10-15 minutes while your friend plays on their screen, but I find that kills the fun regardless, because you're not playing with each other anymore. I guess the difference is you won't be able to do inventory stuff at the same time. It's less of an issue when you're both have decent gear already. So maybe set aside some time to gear up after certain quests or when you reach certain levels. That way one can setup his gear and the other can take a short break.

Ah I see. It's not an OEM license, is it? Depending on the error I guess you have to call and ask MS about it. I tried to install 8.1 on bootcamp on my mac mini, but it wouldn't let me use my win 8 key, so I installed 8 instead and just upgrade. I tried using my OEM Windows 8 key to activate windows 8 on bootcamp. It complained that it's not valid but searching for answers I learned you could just call Microsoft and ask them to fix it, even if its OEM. That's where I gave up though. Calling is probably not a pain and I would probably be able to activate it, but just the thought of dealing with customer service (as with all other customer service by phone) is a pain.

Yeah. If you hate 8, you should either go back to 7, or upgrade. Don't stay at 8. Boot to desktop. Start page is way better. All programs menu still suck though. But programs don't pin themselves anymore by default. And shutdown button in start page. Plus the start icon if you're into that. Better start menu search too. Seriously, upgrade.

Hitman GO This is what I've been playing during my D3 downtime. It's a really good mobile game. Basically you move around the board, while the enemy also moves around (all enemies move at the same time, and there are different enemy types). You either get to the checkpoint, or assassinate someone. Each board/stage has 3 challenges (certain # of turns, collect briefcase, kill everyone/no one), but you don't have to do them in 1 go (and sometimes it's impossible to). There are also distraction items, guns, and other stuff (like tunnels/teleports). I got it when it was on sale for 1.99 on the App Store. It's usually 4.99.
