Oh I agree 110%. Dragon Age: Origins is a thing that shouldn't exist! That thing is awful! Yes yes I know what you mean!
-
It does! We've had that conversation about that sequel that won't be named. So I kinda figured that's what you meant. I just felt the comment was a bit unfair. And I don't think you should say that about a game you spent 30 hours on! It's a bit... misleading...

That's like the worst you could say about any game. I don't think it's THAT bad from what I've seen and heard. It seems to me you just really dislike it because you like the first two games so much and you were disappointed here... I'm pretty sure this game is A LOT better than, well, a lot of other games you could buy when it came out. Being based on the previous two good arkham games and all...

Oooh there's a big twist... Now that I know, I wonder if I'll see it coming? I saw these. I... would probably enjoy those But I realize only a few people will (not the majority of internet posters anyway). I'm not much of a fan of the holding multiple buttons to counter. I couldn't even avoid knives properly, I just jump over them. From what I've heard boss battles were really good, and there are QTEs but unlike GOW style QTEs and you have "more control". I guess this is something I just have to find out myself. "Shouldn't exist" seems a bit harsh. But "more of the same" is fine with me as long as the previous one was good (hello Assassin's Creed). In any case, I know what to expect. I was going to buy it anyway, I just wish I did it when it was on sale. But I really want to play it now... so thanks for the info! About game-breaking bugs though: I don't know why I even mentioned it, it's not like it'll affect my enjoyment of the game. I don't remember being annoyed by a game breaking bug. I do think that I've encountered some, but I abused it anyway. Unless it's something that will literally prevent me from continuing then fuck that.

I feel like Arkham Origins is a great game but people have negative opinions on it, because it doesn't really do anything new. I know you guys have played it. Is that really the problem? I heard the story is very good and the boss fights as well. And there are also bugs. But I get the impression they're not game breaking.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is awesome. Really like it, controls are great, combat is easy, kinda button mashy, but it feels really good. It's exactly what I'm looking for though, button mashy with lots of enemies and insane combo counts. The story is nothing special, you lost your memory, you have to learn about yourself, while being the selfless hero that you are and helping everyone you talk to along the way. Voice acting is good, sometimes though Fidget, the flying bat/cat companion of yours gets irritating but it's fine overall... This is what I was expecting Muramasa to be. I tried that game (on the Vita), I kinda didn't like the combat much. It feels weird if you can't attack unless there are enemies. Maybe I'll give that a try again someday, but I doubt it will be better than Dust. I've also been playing Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate (BAOB). It's not that good, It's not that bad either though. I wish there was more combat, or opportunities to do combos. I get bored while playing, but I pick it up again anyway. I will probably be able to finish it this way. Maybe after this I'll play Origins. It'll sure be better than BAOB.

Hello! We've re-imagined eleven for the next generation and made some tweaks to his character. As you may have noticed, he's now more dark and serious. While this may seem like a drastic change, we think that this is the natural path his character would take (as you can only really make so many face-palms before you get fed up with everyday shit). We are excited for him to make more posts and to have you rediscover him again. As usual, we are open to feedback from the community. We love listening to you! Sincerely, The Agency (future posts unless signed by The Agency will be from Agent 1011)

Is it to late to post a video from Blackgate? Man I like this game. For $5 i can do all the combos I want! With or without counters! Actually, no. Maybe it's just early but there's only a few enemies so far. This game should have an unlimited enemy mode challenge or something. That'll make me sink hours into this.

No. Apparently it's implemented. AC4 apparently did this. I think Watch Dogs did, too. I have at least 1 game that did this. AC4, Watch_Dogs, or Tomb Raider. It'll have multiple downloads, and after the smaller download completes, you can play that. Then it'll continue downloading the other file.

According to Steam, him, Saturnine and Vecha are playing it. It's in my list (and my wishlist!), I've "tried a demo" of it and i could lose myself in it. Just busy and looking for easier games right now. The two main character thing, is cool... I've always wanted to create multiple characters in Baldur's Gate (and I did, using the multiplayer mode), but then everyone is devoid of personality. I'm not a fan of controlling dialogue for both of the characters, so I may end up selecting an AI for the 2nd character. I just can't imagine myself roleplaying two characters. It's like playing a scenario with dolls Legos. I realize though that that's probably for co-op. But I've read people actually enjoy controlling both character's dialogue. I don't know yet. I've sunk in maybe around 45 mins on the intro. I said it's on my list but really I've no idea if I would ever get around to getting and playing it.

It's implemented! I think I ended up with a 2 GB initial download on Watch Dogs, and Lego Marvel is about to complete in 1 min (920 MB). That was just the installer for Lego. But I think I saw it on some game before. I had to download a huge "update". Hmm...

Cool sale! I got Lego Marvel Super Heroes too for the PS4. And also Batman Blackgate for Vita. It's probably worth $4.20.
-
Aren't we supposed to be able to play PS4 games after a smaller download?
-
It's supposed to be able to use ExpressCard (most common, on Windows laptops at least), Thunderbolt (common on Macs), or mPCIe (supposed to be found on the underside of laptops).

You can actually buy a complete case+power supply and you just need to plug-in the video card. Looks sleek. It's a rectangular box that's a little bigger than the video card itself and there's a power brick. Of course, that one's $300 i think, called the ViDock. But it looks like a regular PSU + some kind of board (he called it PE4L, i don't know what that is) would work, you just don't have a case (the 2nd picture in the link).

I kinda wanna do this, so I could eliminate my gaming desktop completely. I have too many computers right now... http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1191969-external-gpu-for-laptops-supercharge-your-graphics/ Anyone you know have a similar setup?

Ubisoft games on sale. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/ubisoft Liberation HD is on sale, which is what I wanted, I guess. But I wanted it on the PS3... so...

I would like to visit your farm one day, Ethan.
-
They shouldn't have started Liberation with tailing missions and the Lady persona...
-
If I just acted fast enough, I wouldn't have to pay a high price for it.
-
Ah... I have Graces f and I completely forgot about it...

Saw this last year, trailer and a brief gameplay. Bought it as a gift (that I will eventually redeem myself). I was busy then so I wasn't able to play it, but I just redeemed it now. This seems like a really cool game. I love beat 'em ups and that's why I initially bought it. Didn't realize there were skill and levels, and it's fully voiced and all. Pretty great!

No, don't believe him! Xillia was way better than Star Ocean in terms of characters and story. Voice acting was also way better. I did like the battle system. It's very tales like, I guess Star Ocean and Tales games generally have similar battle systems. And that's a system that I really like. If you're going to pick one up, pick Xillia. In terms of story though, Resonance of Fate has even it even worse. Terrible, terrible pacing. Which makes the standard fare RPG story look real bad. It's a good thing the combat, once you master it, is really good. As is the weapon customization. IMO anyway. EDIT: What are the 4 Tales Games on the PS3? I only know Vesperia (which is Japanese only) and Xillia...
