It's true. One of my comic book loving friends wanted me to watch Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes with him a while before they dropped the shitty new Netflix interface. Bugs the hell out of me because, surprise, I don't have any friends who live nearby and could just come over to watch stuff with me.

Been a few weeks since I played Street Fighter x Tekken. DLC shenanigans aside, I can't really figure out why people are babies about it.

Man, I forget how time consuming Shining Force games are. Though it only served to remind me that I'll never get to play all of Shining Force 3.

Got two new battery packs for my 360 today...turns out they're both duds and don't actually charge via the Charge Kit or cable. AWESOME!

Playing through RE6 again with a buddy from the UK (first time through was with my younger cousin). Haters gonna hate. I still think it's a fine game.

After reading all that hubbub about someone thinking Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2 is kinda racist, it seems like a lot of people weren't looking at it objectively. After the claim was made, I thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion that she's not TOTALLY a form of racial caricature, it's not too difficult to see why people would see her as a full blown racism thing. Short version: People are silly. -
I just kind of realized that no matter what ending a potential ME4 works off of, there is going to be copious amounts of whining about 'but my canon!' in regards to Bioware actually picking one.

Well for me Bioware went from brilliant to good. I enjoy all of their games a LOT, but never as much as their old shit

For me they were brilliant up until ME2/DA2, then they dropped to good.
I still rely on them though, cause without them all we've got left is Bethesda basically.

DA2 was a bad game made by a good developer. I have come to peace with the gameplay changes in ME2 and ME3. It's the story of ME3 that sucks. Well, that and the samey enemies throughout the game.

Fucking RNG stat gains are my bane. Still, it was nice to play the sequel to the original FE. I hope Awakening ramps up the character customization some more. The story was pretty enjoyable, if not predictable. The gameplay was solid and the collectibles actually had me looking up things (in so much as reading about serial killers can be called a positive thing).

Does it matter where they occur? A status update guarantees more people see it, a specific topic can get lost amidst all the info displayed on screen

It doesn't guarantee more people will see it at all, especially as they're gone in about 48hrs never to be seen or responded to again unlike a forum post. And forum topics get lost in what info displayed on screen?

I'll have you know that I don't have the Killer Instinct, so much as I have the K.I. Feeling. That said, I have kind of a bad feeling about this whole ordeal. Maybe it's years of the other foot dropping in just the way I don't want or expecting the dumbest possible thing to happen, but I got this feeling.

I dunno, people thought the Halo 3 CE/LE was worth spending more money on when you couldn't even wear the prop helmet. Though I am biased because I think collectible junk is dumb.

See I mainly on do handheld gaming when I'm away these days (like FFIX over xmas). Used to do tons in past but there was a bunch of time to fill in on bus. If I'm home I'll play PC or console. There's the Minis on PS3 btw.

Yeah, I'd had a cold for about 6 days (it finally ended lasted Wednesday). Woke up yesterday with a heavy, throaty cough and today I'm coughing up gunk.

Good luck. There are like 4 strains of flu jumping around the Greater US right now. Basically once you catch one, your imune system will have a harder time stopping you from catching one of the other three. Hope you feel better soon!

I would not mind seeing DS/PSP/3DS/Vita games getting ported to the Wii U/PS3/360 (let's be serious, most of the Vita's library isn't exactly exclusive) in the form of downloadable PSN/XBLA/VC games.

Well, some of the God of War PSP games came up PS3. Personally, I think Ethan has the right idea. I know you could plug in PSPs to TVs, and people will say the reason you can't do that on Vita is because no one used it, PSP games looked like crapola on the big screen, but Vita games might actually look pretty nice. You could probably even have your Vita communicate wirelessly with your PS3 so you wouldn't need to plug it in with cables.

The other thing I was thinking of is that it would remove the whining about piracy and the lack of install base in the US/EU.
As much as I enjoyed some of the PSP and DS's offerings, I know I wouldn't have bothered with them if I hadn't been able to pirate the hell out of them because I'm never in a position to play a portable (I'd prefer to read while I'm poopin').

On Steam, I got Arkham City GotY Edition, DX:HR Augmented Edition, Lost Planet 2 (gifted to me), FTL (gifted), DotA2 (gifted), The Walking Dead (gifted), Magicka (gifted), XCOM: Enemy Unknown (gifted), Darksiders 2 (and all its DLC), SiN, Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile and all of Just Cause 2's DLC. On XBLA, I got Dust: An Elysian Tail, Deadlight and Mark of the Ninja. For my 360, I bought Sleeping Dogs (though it was technically a gift since my cousin gave me the cash to buy it for myself for Christmas), Dragon's Dogma, Prototype, Prototype 2, Duke Nukem Forever (What? It was $4!), Dark Sector, Devil May Cry 4 and Senko no Ronde. I think I could sum up my holiday season as me going...

It's kind of irritating to have a friend who is pro-gun ownership because man, his Facebook posts of late have been entirely retarded. I have no problem with guns themselves, but it sure seems like everyone who is pro-gun is only so because they interpret the 2nd Amendment as 'I can own a gun so I should own one and anyone who says otherwise is VIOLATIN' MAH LIBERTIES!'.
